Our Location, the Surrounding Area, and Things to See and Do

Hotel Erber is located in the quiet, idyllic village of Fischerhäuser, a part of Ismaning, Germany, not far from Munich. Fischerhäuser is directly on the banks of the River Isar; our hotel is connected directly to the English Garden. You’ll find many green areas and nature preserves near the hotel — perfect for relaxing, strolling, walking, and cycling.

Ismaning is located about 7 kilometres northeast of Munich, Germany on the right banks of the Isar River. Ismaning is well-connected to major transport routes; for example, it has a station on the train route from the Munich East Station (Ostbahnhof) to the Munich Airport (Flughafen). It is also near the motorway/freeway 99 (Bundesautobahn 99), the major roads B 471, B 388, and B 301, and also the road 2053 (Staatsstraße 2053). Ismaning offers much to see; for example, the church St. Johann Baptist, the historic Ismaning Palace (Schloss Ismaning), the Orangerie, and the Kallmann-Museum.
